- First, purchase a phone number.
- On the top navigation pane, click Admin.
- Under Genesys Cloud voice, click Number Management.
- Click Menu > Digital and Telephony > Telephony > Number Management.
- Click Purchase Number.
- View the numbers available for purchase. Enter an area code and click Search.
- Choose a number and complete the purchase.
- In the Emergency Services and Billing Location section, select the default location.
- Click Agree to our general Terms & Conditions and then, click Confirm.
- Set up call routing so that your organization can receive inbound calls.
- On the top navigation pane, click Admin.
- Under Routing, click Call Routing.
- Select the available call route for editing.
- Search for and select the number that you purchased in the Inbound Numbers field and click Save.
You can now receive inbound calls.
