Calculate journey events

When you are finished with building the journey, you can choose to create charts of interest, or run a calculation and then decide what charts to build based on the journey results. You can create up to 10 charts per journey.

Create a trend chart from an event

      1. Click More on the lower right corner of the event and then select Create a Trend Chart. Genesys Cloud opens the chart editor with pre-populated information from the event card. Genesys Cloud creates a time series chart, with an X axis that defaults to 28 days, a Y axis that displays the name of the event, and count type defaulting to customers.
      2. Edit any chart data, as required.
Note: The default chart title is Day-<event title>. If you update the chart details, the title does not change.

    Save and calculate results

    1. To save journey analysis and calculate results later, click Save and then Exit.
    2. To calculate results, click Save and Calculate.

Genesys Cloud displays an estimate of the time required to process the journey. Use the estimate to decide whether you want to wait for the analysis or to exit and analyze later. Once the analysis is complete, Journey Management automatically refreshes and displays the results. If you navigate away from the analysis, but are still in Journey Management, you will be notified when the analysis is complete. When you return to the page, the results are available.

        Notes

        • The calculation can take some time to complete.
        • You can create up to 10 charts per journey. Your organization can execute up to 15 queries per day.
        • You will be notified when you are approaching the query limit.

When the calculation is ready, Genesys Cloud applies the calculated numbers to the respective journeys. The thickness of the connection lines represents the volume of customers moving forward between two connected events.
