Use keyboard shortcuts in the schedule editor
In the schedule editor, using keys as an alternative to the mouse may increase your productivity and improve interaction while working with schedules.
Note: Press Shift+K to open the list of shortcuts.
| Keyboard shortcut | Description |
|---|---|
| Ctrl + A | Selects all rows in the schedule. |
| Ctrl + C | Copies the selected shifts or activities. |
| Ctrl + Drag | Copies an activity or shift to a new location. |
| Ctrl + Shift + F | Show “Add Full Day time Off” dialog. |
| Ctrl + V | Pastes shifts or activities into the selected row. |
| Ctrl + X | Cuts the selected shifts or activities. |
| Ctrl + Y | Redo general changes to the schedule. |
| Ctrl + Z | Undo general changes to the schedule. |
| Delete | Delete the selected shifts or activities. |
| Double-click | Edits the selected activity or open the selected shift in Day View. |
| Drag | Moves an activity or shift to a new location. Can be used to swap shifts. |
| Escape | Closes a dialog or cancels an action. For example, if you drag an activity and then select Escape, the drag action is cancelled |
| Shift + A | When a single activity is selected, opens the Copy Activity to Agents dialog box. |
| Shift + D | When a single shift is selected, opens the Copy Shift to Days dialog box. |
| Shift + E | Edits the selected activity. |
| Shift + H | Opens the View Shift History dialog box and select from a list of modifications. |
| Shift + M | When a single shift is selected, opens the Copy Shift to Agents dialog box. |
| Shift + Q | When a shift is selected, opens the Assign Shift dialog box. |
| Shift + R | Replaces the selected shift with the specified activity. |
| Shift + S | Saves the schedule. |
| Shift + W | Swaps two selected shifts. |
| Shift + click row | Selects a range of rows. |
| Ctrl + click row | Toggles the row’s selected state. |
View

| Left arrow | In Day View, goes to the previous day. In Vertical View, collapses the selected agent. |
| Right arrow | In Day View, goes to the next day. In Vertical View, expands the selected agent. |
| Shift + | Zooms in. |
| Shift – | Zooms out. |
| Shift + 1 | Switches to Day View. |
| Shift + 2 | Switches to Date Range View. |
| Shift + 3 | Switches to Week View. |
| Shift + 4 | Switches to Vertical View. |
| Shift + F | Opens the Filter and Sort dialog box. |
| Shift + G | Toggle filter to show only edited agents. |
| Shift + K | Presents a list of available keyboard shortcuts. |
| Backspace/Delete | Opens a dialog box, asking you to confirm the deletion. |
| Shift + left arrow | In Vertical View only, collapses the selection. |
| Shift + right arrow | In Vertical View only, expands the selection. |
| Type agent’s name | Select agent by name. |
