Email rules overview

Series: Email rules

Next suggested step: Create an email rule

Email rules allow administrators and contact center managers the flexibility to define specific actions an email flow takes based on predefined criteria. Architect evaluates these conditions at runtime and routes the email accordingly. These rule builders also include an option to generate the expression, which lets users edit and customize expressions.

Rules are banded by AND operators—all specified rules must be met before the conditions are met. These rules do not use the OR operator. However, the Generate expression feature allows you to manually adjust the expressions.
